Special Scholarship Program>
The Special Scholarship Program is a 3-year English-medium doctoral program designed for highly capable doctoral students. Successful applicants are entitled to receive following benefits:
1. Exempted from all the required student fees
2. 150,000 yen per month for research project work
3. 150,000 yen for travel and initial living cost (given only to international applicants who are living outside Japan)

The candidates are expected to have the intention to go on to the KUT doctoral Program after completion of their masters’ degrees. Successful applicants will be receive the following benefits:
1. Exempted from all the required student fees
2. 50,000 yen monthly scholarship
3. 150,000 yen for travel and initial living cost
Note 1:
The successful candidates must:
1. Cover any living costs in excess of 50,000 yen by themselves
2. Have excellent Japanese skill, at least sufficient to keep up with classes at KUT
Note 2: The number of students enrolled under this scholarship program is limited.

Followings are additional information for those who wish to apply for KUT’s scholarship programs.
Kochi University of Technology will move its School of Management to the Eikokuji campus in Kochi City from the main campus in Kami City in April, 2015. At the same time, the School of Management will emerge reorganized and transformed, newly established as the School of Economics & Management. Despite the move, however, the program for first year students will be conducted at the main Kami campus.

School of Economics & Management (for first year students)
Eikokuji Campus:
School of Economics & Management (for second to fourth year undergraduates and graduate students)
KUT’s on-campus accommodation called “International House” in Kami campus provides a high quality research and study environment for both overseas and Japanese students. International students can enjoy this living-learning environment while developing a better understanding of Japanese culture through daily life with Japanese students.
